Idris Elba tests positive for coronavirus

The list of world prominent persons who have been infected by the deadly Covid-19 continues to grow by the day.

The latest celebrity who has contracted the disease is actor Idris Elba.

The actor confirmed that he has tested positive in a tweet on Monday, March 16.

According to the actor although he tested positive he is not showing any symptoms, so far.

Idris Elba explained that he got tested because he had been exposed to someone who had tested positive to the coronavirus.

The Hobbs and Shaw actor added that his wife Sabrina is yet to get tested for the virus.

Idris joins a number of celebrities including James Bond actress Olga Kurylenko, Tom hanks and wife Rita Wilson, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and Chelsea player Callum Hudson-Odoi who have tested positive.
