A Ghanaian woman wasn't lucky as she got apprehended by the security at the Accra Sports Stadium for engaging in an illegal activity.

The said lady was arrested by the police for selling marijuana during a football match between Accra Great Olympics and Liberty Professionals on Sunday, March 15, 2020.

In a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Pulse Ghana, she was apprehended by the police at the stadium's centerline where she was allegedly selling marijuana to some fans who came to watch the game.

However, no fan was arrested because none of them was caught in possession of the herbs or seen smoking.

The lady who is believed to be in her mid 30's was whisked away together with her dried leaves suspected to be wee by the Greater Accra Police where she will be processed before court.

In the said league game, Great Olympics defeated Liberty Professionals 2-1.

Meanwhile, former Black Stars coach, James Kwesi Appiah is demanding salary arrears of $175,000 from the Ghana Football Association.

According to a media report by Joy Sports, Appiah through his lawyer, Thaddeus Sory, has written to the FA to pay him all his five months salary arrears and a winning bonus owed him.

The letter from the lawyer of Kwesi Appiah states that the Ghana Football Association has up to two weeks to pay up.
