US rapper Young Thug directs followers to Bible for solution to coronavirus

As the world continues to battle with the deadly COVID-19 also known as coronavirus, many people have taken to social media to react to the endemic. While some people have advised that social distancing be practiced, Young Thug seems to have a different opinion.

The top American rapper recently took to his social media to react to the spread of the virus, dishing out what he believes to be a solution by directing his fans and followers to a scripture in the bible.

The part of the bible talks about God sending an epidemic and prayers and repentance being a solution.

Chronicles 7:13-14 reads: "Whenever I hold back the rain or send locusts to eat up the crops or send an epidemic on my people, if they pray to men and repent and turn away from the evil they have been doing, then I will hear them in heaven, forgive their sins, and make their land prosperous again."

Still on coronavirus, Instagram blogger, Tunde Ednut recently took to his page to share a video of a man sharing his coronavirus testimony at the church of Pastor David Ibiyeomie.

Identified as Amadi Emmanuel, he stated that he was amongst the medical team who came in contact with the Italian, who was the index case in Nigeria.

However, after reading a scripture in the bible and praying as instructed by Ibiyeomie, his test results for coronavirus came out negative. While many people rejoiced at what they believe is God's work at play, Daddy Freeze seems to think otherwise.

While some Nigerians have expressed hope in the government's ability to fight the virus, there are some who have lost all hope. One man, however, gave quite an interesting response during an interview. When asked if he was scared of getting infected, he replied in the negative.

In his response, he stated that he was a child of God and believed in the power of His protection. He also emphasized on being protected as he is a member of 'Chosen', a popular church known for their radical evangelism.
