Juventus superstar might be forced to leave his mansion where he is self-isolating due to the recent earthquake in his home town in Funchal, Madeira.

The 35-year-old chose to quarantine himself along with his partner and children in Portugal after the spread of deadly coronavirus.

It would be recalled that Daniele Rugani was the first Juve's first team player to contract the deadly virus after their 2-0 win over Inter Milan earlier this month.

The development forced the Old Lady to initiate a total lockdown and all their players put on self-isolation for the 14-day incubation period.

However, Ronaldo decided to lock himself away from others in his hometown in a bid to avoid interfacing with anyone who has the virus.

Meanwhile, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward is now been threatened with a twin earthquake that rocked the area that houses around 290,000 people.

Daily Star reports that the first hit the Richter Scale at 3.8 weekend last, while just over seven days later another arrived reaching a 5.2 rating.

The publication claims no life was affected but the debris fell on the roads thereby causing traffic and slow movement.

It was the first time in over 12 years that the island witnessed such magnitude that came 10km under the ground.

Serie A which has 12 games more to end the season could recommence at the earliest on May 3, 2020, as the deadly coronavirus continues to spread across the globe.
