Report reaching YEN.com.gh indicates that Black Stars midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu's sister has been shot dead.
In a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Ghana Sports, the Berekum District Police have mounted an intense search for a man identified as Kwabena Yeboah alias Kobii who heinously shot dead Agyemang Badu's sister
According to reports he committed the offence during the wee hours of Wednesday morning and sneaked out of town in a bid to escape the rod of justice for his capital offense.
Yeboah, who appears to be in his late 40s or early 50s, is currently on the run after committing the heinous crime in a suburb of Berekum in the Bono region.
The man reportedly shot the woman on Wednesday morning for reasons unknown to neither the Police nor the family of the deceased.
Officers are currently soliciting tip-off and other vital information which could lead to the arrest of the fugitive killer who is believed to be in a hideout around the area or probably crossed the Ghanaian border to the Ivory Coast.
However, anybody with information on the whereabouts or hideout of the criminal can contact the Ghana police for the criminal to be arrested and face the full rigorousness of the law.

The unwelcoming news comes to the on-loan Hellas Verona midfielder is currently being quarantined in Veneto, Verona – Italy, due to the global pandemic coronavirus which has affected many in Italy and claimed over 3,000 lives.
