Ghana’s Vice President, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, and the National Chief Imam, Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, on Friday, March 20 led Ghanaians and the Muslim community to seek Allah’s intervention against the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The meeting of the Muslim clerics, Imams and Zongo leaders comes a day after President Akufo-Addo and Christian leaders also prayed for the nation and against the Covid-19 disease.
