UPSA celebrates rapper TiC for his immense contribution to the Ghana Music Industry

Veteran Ghanaian rapper TiC has been recognized and celebrated by the University of Professional Studies (UPSA) for his immense contribution to the growth and development of the Ghana Music Industry.

At the school's UPSA Classic Awards event which took place recently, TiC who was formally known as Tic Tac was presented with the prestigious honourary award.

In a post sighted by YEN.com.gh, the citation read "This award is presented to TiC for your immense contribution to the growth and development to the Ghana Music Industry."

"Your life is an example to many and you are a role model to students and individuals," it continued.

Nana Kwaku Okyere Duah as he is known in real life, after receiving the award, expressed great appreciation to the school for the recognition.

The 2020 UPSA Classic Awards put together by the University, is meant to recognize outstanding students and honour individuals who have played important roles in society.

The Ghana Football Association’s President, Kurt Okraku was also honored at the event.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Ghanaian actress and Instagram model turned singer Akuapem Poloo has stated that she has signed a deal with TN Records, a record label owned by veteran Ghanaian rapper TiC.

In an interview on e. TV Ghana, Akuapem Poloo disclosed that her fans should expect her album soon.

"I am signed onto TN Records. I am now an actress and musician. People should look out for my album," she said.
