COVID-19: Man gives free masks to street kids, hawkers & kayaye's in Accra

- A gentleman who calls himself Nana Qwajo Shaddy has reminded street kids, hawkers & kayaye's in Accra that they matter in the fight against COVID-19

- The young man gave the everyday Ghanaians on the street masks, gloves and hand sanitizers to protect them against the deadly coronavirus

- He goes a step further to encourage others to also do the same as we must all fight the disease together

A young Ghanaian man identified on Instagram simply as Nana Qwajo Shaddy has blessed the lives of street kids, hawkers & kayaye's in Accra with gloves, sanitizers and face masks to protect them against the deadly COVID-19.

In different posts sighted by YEN.com.gh on his personal Instagram handle, Nana Qwajo indicates it is his way of helping fight against the pandemic and encourages others to do the same.

It appears that the young man has been performing the laudable and charitable acts for a while as different pictures showed him dressed up in different clothes and at different locations.

According to Nana Qwajo one of the occasions on which he gave out the freebies to the everyday Ghanaians on the streets was at Okponglo.

Just when it appeared that the government and other stakeholders had forgotten about Ghanaians on the streets, the young man chose to remind them that they really matter.

At last, the hawkers and street kids who are exposed to all kinds of wind and people, now have some protection against COVID-19.

In other news, a 35-year-old Ghanaian who tested positive for COVID-19 and is being treated under isolation conditions has spoken about his experience

According to the gentleman, he did not experience any symptoms but chose to get tested since he had returned from France recently.

It is indicated that the 35-year-old spent 14 days in France on an official assignment after which he returned to the country.
