Expert outlines 12 major steps in using hand sanitizer effectively in video

A video made by a health expert showing how hand sanitizers can be used effectively to ensure that all germs are gotten rid of on the hand has surfaced on social media.

The name of the lady expert who gave the 12 major steps involved in sanitizing the hand completely in the video is not disclosed but it appears that she works at a hospital in Ghana.

In the footage, the lady who was accompanied by a nurse in uniform outlined 12 different stages of cleaning the hand, starting from dipping the tip of one's fingers to sanitizing all parts of the hand, to sanitizing the wrists as well.

Very importantly also, she advised the general public not to blow air on the hand after applying the sanitizer as germs from the source can settle on the hand.

Although the effort being made was to educate the general public on how to get rid of germs in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, the video has caused a different kind of stir online.

It appears that most Ghanaians have rather considered the process too lengthy and funny at the same time.

In other news, a 35-year-old Ghanaian who tested positive for COVID-19 and is being treated under isolation conditions has spoken about his experience

According to the gentleman, he did not experience any symptoms but chose to get tested since he had returned from France recently

It is indicated that the 35-year-old spent 14 days in France on an official assignment after which he returned to the country.
