Award-winning rapper Sarkodie has come under some heavy criticisms from some Ghanaians on social media.

This follows new photos the Highest rapper shared with his fans on his various social media platforms.

Sarkodie, on Saturday, March 21, 2020, shared two new photos showing his style and swag.

In the photos, Sarkodie could be seen looking handsome as he wore a woolen overcoat with a fur design in front. Wearing black spectacles, Sarkodie looked his usual dapper self.

But after he posted the photos, some Ghanaians on social media have not been pleased with Sarkodie.

Coming amid the ongoing Coronavirus scare, many people have described Sarkodie's post as unnecessary.

For most of the critics, Sarkodie was not showing sensitivity with his post.

Others also thought the rapper could have done better by providing hand sanitizers and other stuff like that for needy fans to help fight the Coronavirus.

@flexkgermain described Sarkodie as stingy:

@Jamelojnr thought Sarkodie could have done better:

For @DemSugar5, Sarkodie has not been beneficial to his fans:

@edwardreal8 wondered if the photos were the only things Sarkodie could do for his fans:

@ignis25 also wondered if Sark knew of the COVID-19 situation:

For those who do not know, Ghana, just like the rest of the world, is battling the dreaded Coronavirus disease. Already, there have been 24 cases in Ghana with one person passing away.

Since the pandemic broke, many Ghanaian celebrities have been sensitizing fans and giving away sanitisers which were in short supply to fans to help stop the spread.

The likes of Gloria Sarfo, Criss Waddle, and Shatta Wale have all shared loads of sanitisers to their fans.

It is probably based on this that criticisms have poured on Sarkodie.
