Ghanaian Instagram model Efia Odo has called on pastors to support and give back to their church members in these coronavirus times.

She said this is the time for the pastors to show they appreciate the many years their members have paid tithes and offertory.

Efia Odo suggested that supplies of hand sanitizers, door-to-door delivery of food, and other forms of support would be very helpful to the church members.

Her comments have sparked a debate on Instagram with people siding with her while others kicked against her view.

Airwuah, for instance, said Efia Odo has not right to offer any advice to pastors:

airwuah: “you can’t tell pastors what to do just like no one tells you what to do with your life.”

Annaman also attacked Efia Odo:

f.annaman: “Talking like this makes you feel so wise isn't it?”

Nice also said she and the others will continue to pay the tithes:

madeniceee__: “We will pay our offerings and tithes regardless. We are not complaining. We know what we gain from paying our tithes. It is our money and we will keep paying!!!”
