Information reaching YEN.com.gh indicates that the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumua, has also donated his three months salary to Ghana's COVID-19 Fund.
Bawumia has also confirmed that his next three months' salary should be paid to the COVID-19 Fund to support it.
His decisions come after Akufo-Addo, in a Facebook video announced the establishment of a COVID-19 Fund to raise money to mitigate the impact of the virus on vulnerable Ghanaians who have been affected.

The President also revealed he had instructed the Controller and Accountant General to pay his next three months' salary to support the Fund.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that President Nana Akufo-Addo on Friday, March 27, 2020 announced the establishment of a fund to receive contributions and donations to support the coronavirus victims.
The President revealed this when he announced a lockdown of Accra, Tema, Kasoa, and Kumasi in an address to the nation.
He also stated that the COVID-19 Fund will be chaired by former Chief Justice Sophia Akuffo.
