Popular Kumawood actor Lil Win has gone out of his own way to educate his fans about how to stay safe from the deadly coronavirus.

In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh,was seen telling his fans to frequently wash their hands with soap under running water while observing social distancing and avoiding public gathering.

He also asked his fans to avoid touching their eyes, nose and ears as well as stop shaking hands with people.

Lil Win joins a list of celebrities around the world who are using their influence to tell people to stay at home and stay healthy through this period as the world battles against the deadly coronavirus.

As of March 29, 2020, Ghanaian has recorded a total number of 152 COVID-19 cases with two recoveries and five deaths.

The President yesterday March 28, announced a lockdown in parts of Accra, Kumasi and Kasoa during his late evening national address on government’s measures to control the spread of the virus.

The lockdown is expected to take full flight on Monday, March 30, 2020.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Shatta Wale has commended President Akufo-Addo for granting amnesty to 808 convict prisoners in the wake of the deadly coronavirus.

Shatta Wale recently suggested that as the country fights the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus, the prisoners should also be freed as a way to decongest our prisons.
