Coronavirus: No new cases recorded on morning of Monday, March 30, 2020 - Information Ministry

The Ministry of Information has announced that no new cases of coronavirus have been recorded as of the morning of Monday, March 30, 2020.

In a statement issued by the ministry and sighted by YEN.com.gh, as at 8:30 am, all samples from 11 regions had tested negative.

Formerly, all new cases were announced in the morning.The figure of confirmed cases still stand at 152.

The statement further stated that two patients have recovered and were waiting to be discharged from the hospital.

The information has excited Ghanaians and some cannot hide their joy.

Meanwhile, parts of Accra, Kasoa, and Kumasi are observing a lockdown as announced by President Akufo-Addo earlier.

The measure is to ensure that people in the affected areas would stay home in order to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

The measure will also help health officers to swiftly identify coronavirus cases.

Ghanaians have been urged to observe the exercise for the betterment of all.
