COVID-19: Jackie Appiah donates Veronica buckets, wipes, rice, others to market women

-Jackie Appiah has donated several veronica buckets, wipes, detergents, wipes and bags of rice among others to the market folks at the Texpo market at Spintex in Accra

Ghanaian actress, Jackie Appiah has donated several items to the market folks at the Texpo market at Spintex in Accra.

Some of the items include veronica buckets, wipes, detergents, wipes and bags of rice among others.

In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Jackie Appiah after the donation took advantage of the donation to sensitize the sellers at the market about the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus.

She later urged them to stay at home if they have nothing important to do in town and also to stay safe in this COVID-19 period.

As part of the president’s initiative to stop the spread of the deadly coronavirus, Akufo-Addo gave a directive to the security agencies to lockdown some regions in the country.

To control activities and prevent further spread of the virus, security personnel were deployed into the restricted zones (Accra, Tema and Kumasi) to ensure compliance.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Founder and General Overseer of the Anointed Palace Chapel (APC), Reverend Obofour had donated some items to the Tema General Hospital to help them fight the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus.

Some of the items Rev. Obofour donated include; hand sanitiser, Veronica buckets, tissues, soaps, hospital beds and an amount of GHC 100,000 among other things.
