Veteran Ghanaian sports journalist and president of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG), Kwabena Yeboah, has lost his mother.

Kwabena Yeboah has announced the death of his mother Madam Beatrice Yeboah.

The renowned sports journalist and writer's mother passed away on Monday, March 30, 2020, after battling with illness.

The ace journalist who is saddened by the demise of his mother announced the news.

"Brothers, sorry, I lost my mother a few hours ago. Tough times," the veteran commentator posted on a WhatsApp platform.

Kwabena Yeboah is noted for his many years on TV as the presenter of Sports Highlight on GTV.

Meanwhile, Asamoah Gyan has proven that he is one of the richest African football stars on the African continent.

Gyan has released a powerful video on his Twitter handle to motivate the youth to appreciate what they have.

In the video sighted by YEN.com.gh, the former goal poacher decided to put his expensive properties on display.

The video, which was shot from his mansion which he reportedly bought for $3 million in 2015 showed his fleet of cars.

Some of the cars in his fleet include Mercedes Benz, Rolls Royce Phantom, Hummer, Porsche, Escalade, Range Rover, Charger (Sports Car) and several other vehicles.

Gyan became the highest-paid player on the African continent when he joined Shanghai SIPG in 2017.
