Dr Patrina Techi-Ankrah, Ghana's President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's personal physician has narrated how he's strictly protected against COVID-19.

The medical doctor made the statements known at the press briefing that was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Information on April 1, 2020.

She indicated that although the president is not seen in masks or gloves during his meetings, all measures are put in place to ensure that he is absolutely safe.

According to Dr Techi-Ankrah, Nana Addo is strictly required and monitored to wash his hands frequently, use hand sanitizers often and also observe extreme social distancing protocols.

A day before the president's birthday, he was tested for the novel coronavirus together with his staff, daughters and the entire household.

It is exciting to note that all the tests came back negative. A day after his birthday, all other people who worked in his 'exterior' circles such as government appointees and ministers were tested.

In other news, a beautiful Ghanaian couple has gotten married in a very simple wedding ceremony, observing the strict social distancing measures to avoid the spread of COVID-19.

In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh on the official Instagram handle of Facts and Truths, the wedding was held outside the chapel to avoid going against President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's orders for all church services to be suspended.

It is thought that the simple wedding ceremony was held at a branch of the Church of Pentecost in Ghana as the pastor is identified as Rev Thomas Agbeke who is a district pastor of the church.
