Prominent Ghanaian on-screen ‘goddess’, Nana Aba Anamoah has in a recent tweet showered pleasant accolades on President Akufo-Addo for his measures taken in battling the COVID-19 pandemic.

The notable outspoken female TV star heaped praises on President Nana Addo for doing so well following the outbreak and spread of the dreaded coronavirus that has claimed five lives in the country.

According to Nana Aba Anamoah, the president has exhibited leadership with the guidelines and the subsequent enhanced measures taken to ward off the deadly coronavirus in Ghana.

She noted that the measures, so far, are worth emulating by other African presidents.

''Our President is handling this coronavirus wahala perfectly well. Thumbs up to him. Impressive speech, impressive work, impressive intervention.

Other African Presidents should watch and learn.

Anamoah's tweet, which received nearly 2,000 retweets has evoked tons of reactions from her followers.

''I was screaming during his speech.

His display of leadership is what we read about, I’m so glad about how he’s handling issues.

Nana Aba Anamoah’s post follows President Akufo-Addo’s televised broadcast on Sunday, April 5, 2020, to provide an update on the latest enhanced measures taken by the government in the fight for the preventive and containment of the coronavirus pandemic

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh previously reported that President Akufo-Addo disclosed that the Coronavirus Alleviation Programme (CAP) has been sent to Parliament to protect households and livelihoods, support SMEs, among others

The programme is being rolled out by the government in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Also, Ghana now has 214 confirmed coronavirus cases with five deaths and three recoveries.
