COVID-19: Gifty Anti meets her daughter for the 1st time after quarantine (photo)

Award-winning female TV personality Oheneyere Dr. Gifty Anti has finally been released from mandatory quarantine after arriving in Ghana from UK some weeks ago.

Gifty Anti was cleared to go home after all COVID-19 tests on her came back negative.

In a photo sighted by YEN.com.gh, Gifty Anti was seen holding her daughter Nyame Anuonyam close as she slept on her mum's chest.

"My Sunshine was asleep when I got home and when she woke up, she stayed this way till this morning. A sense of love, affection and belongingness. A feeling that I was greatly missed and needed.Errrrmmm by the way, the tissue by me was not for wiping my tears. That’s my story and I am sticking by it," Gifty Anti captioned the photo.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Ghana's Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, had indicated that 925 people who came to Ghana and were kept in mandatory quarantine would be discharged to their homes.

The minister made the declaration on his official Twitter handle, indicating that all the people to be discharged tested negative after been quarantined for 14 days.

According to Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the military and the National Security secretariat would be coordinating the exit and transport of all the people to their homes on April 5 and April 6, 2020.
