Adesua Etomi birthday is on the 22nd of February 1986. The Nollywood actress' birthplace is on the eastern coast of Nigeria. Her father was a soldier hailing from the Esan community and her mom, a civil engineer of Yoruba descent. Together with her brother Tosin and her sister Temitayo, the family of five continued living in Imo.

She once again proved to be bright-minded as she graduated with three distinctions earning a diploma in physical theatre, musical theatre, and performing arts.

Career

When she was still discovering herself, Adesua starred inThe crucible in 2004, Saro in 2013, and The Grim Tales in 2009. However, these were minor theatre works that opened her eyes to her possibilities. She started nurturing her talent, and that’s when she decided to come back home.

Immediately after jetting back to Nigeria, she tried her hand in a short film The call, and a year later, she starred as Layo in brave. What put her in the map was when she landed the role to play Debbie in the feature film Knocking on Heaven’s Door. She completely bodied her character and even got nominated for Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards.

A year later, she landed the role of playing ‘Muna’ in Falling. There was no denying that she was meant for the acting life as success in the role led her to win a Golden Icons Academy Movie Award.
