Gaga and her comrades said they plan to throw a huge virtual concert in conjunction with World Health Organisation (WHO) to foster global unity.

Gaga also said the concert will be graced by award-winning act Billie Ellish and other great artistes from across the globe. Nigeria’s Burna Boy will also perform.

The Bad Romance further said her one of a kind concert will last for two hours and prove to people from different walks of life they are all together in the fight against COVID-19.

It is meant to remind people they are unified together while still staying in their houses.

The concert is scheduled for April 18, 2020, and will be featured on major broadcasters that include NBC, ABC and CBS.

Gaga also said she together with Global Citizen raised funds meant to purchase and provide protective equipment for healthcare workers in the frontline of the fight.

The cash which was given to WHO will also be channeled towards developing medicine.

She was grateful for the efforts healthcare workers and other providers have put to ensure everyone across the world is protected.

“My heart is very achy and warm for those who are ER doctors as well as nurses who are sleeping in cars to make sure they don’t infect their families or their patients,” Gaga said during a press conference.

The musician was in awe of the kind of danger medical staff expose themselves to and said she is beyond amazed by their strength.
