Many people dream of building or owning their own homes, but not everyone get the opportunity. One man, Trevor Menlyn Sidogi, wanted to upgrade his living conditions.

Although he doesn't have the capital to build a big house yet, Trevor did not let it stop him from building a cozy one-bedroom home.

Taking to Twitter, Trevor showed off his new crib. He captioned the post:

"In life, appreciate even the little things. Finally, I'm the one-room house owner."

His post received over 26 700 likes and South Africans were inspired by the humble artist.

Pablo Barluzar, who goes by the Twitter handle @RaymondSathekge, commented:

"Congratulations man. Keep pushing and never look back. Let it work as a motivation going forward."

Another tweep, @Olalaecon, wrote:

"This is great, congratulations man."

Social media user, @bawumele, said:

"May the work of your hands continue to increase."

It's not the first time Trevor inspired people. YEN.com.gh previously reported that after five years of "begging", the talented artist finally landed a job.

Despite being talented, he struggled to find a good-paying job to take care of his family. Last month, Trevor revealed that after years of unemployment and looking for a job, he has finally been given the opportunity to prove himself.
