Award-winning music producer, Killbeatz, known privately as Joseph Addison, has signed a groundbreaking deal with, Peermusic UK.
The deal between Killbeatz and the music publishing company was announced on Wednesday, April 8, 2020.
In a report on Musicweek.com sighted by YEN.com.gh, Peermusic UK's president for Europe and MD, Nigel Elderton, expressed delight in adding Killbeatz to their stable and promised to help him achieve more.
“We look forward to working closely with him and his team to plug him into our international roster. With our network of offices we will be able to provide ‘Killbeatz’ with access to music markets around the world. This deal was a real team effort as everyone from my royalty, sync and creative departments have been very committed to having Joseph on our UK roster,” Elderton is quoted to have said.
On his part, Killbeatz was thankful to Peemusic, his manager, Davide Prince Yeboah, and, his lawyer, Paul Spraggon.
He he indicated that he was full of energy and very excited for the opportunity to get his musical productions onto the international scene.
“This has been a long time coming! My career journey to this point hasn’t been easy, but I am really grateful for the patience and kindness showed to me by the team at Peermusic; my manager, David Prince Yeboah; and my lawyer, Paul Spraggon at SSB.
“I’m full of energy, new ideas, and super excited to get my productions back onto the international music scene. I can’t wait to get started,” Killbeatz reportedly said.
Killbeatz has been one of the best producers in Ghana since he burst onto the music scene about 12 years ago.
A three-time Producer Of The Year winner at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) in 2013, 2014, and 2018, Killbeatz has worked with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Fuse ODG, Sarkodie, R2Bees, Wamde Coal, and WizKid.
By signing this contract, he has not only cemented his position as one of the best of his time but has become the first-ever producer from Ghana to sign such a deal.
Meanwhile, Killbeatz recently announced the birth of a baby girl for him and also shared beautiful photos of the newly-born baby girl.
His post got the likes of Stonebwoy, Davido, Juliet Ibrahim, Efya, Moesha Boduong and other stars to congratulate him.
