Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has finally spoken on Shatta Wale’s Faith Concert held recently in private do to social distancing rules due to the outbreak of coronavirus.
Sarkodie says the concert is beautiful and that is the way to go in these times when people want to be entertained but cannot go out.
To him, whether coronavirus or any other pandemic hits, artistes must work and that is why he sees Shatta Wale’s Faith Concert as a unique one.
Sarkodie made these remarks in an interview monitored by YEN.com.gh on TV3 New Day when he spoke with Mz Gee.
He was speaking on complaints by some people that it was wrong for him to have released a diss song when everyone is thinking and talking about coronavirus.
Sarkodie explained that there is no time in an artiste's life that he is not supposed to work, stressing that his diss song has even livened up the system a bit.
While on the show, Sarkodie also showed that he was not happy about a question he was asked about Shatta Wale.
Mz Gee had asked him to tell the exact relationship between him and Shatta Wale, but Sarkodie called that a "boring question".
He explained that he has had to answer this question many times and does not think it is best to answer it anymore.
Sarkodie also denied that he sang his Sub Zero diss song against Asem or Shatta Wale, telling who the song is really for.
