COVID-19: Ghana's coronavirus cases count jumps to 378

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in his sixth address to the nation on the deadly coronavirus announced that Ghana's case count jumps from 313 to 378.

According to the president, the additional cases recorded were gotten from the samples collected and tested from the contacts traced.

The president reiterated that 14,611 contacts of samples collected were sent to the laboratory for testing.

According to him, in Accra alone 52 out of the 11,308 samples collected turned to be positive.

He added that in Kumasi out of the 3,303 samples collected, 25 also turned out to be positive.

The president stated that 77 aditional cases were recorded in both Kumasi and Accra.
