Lockdown: Bishop Obinim to send mobile money to all church members

- Bishop Daniel Obinim has stated that he has received a strong direction by the Holy Spirit in this lockdown period

- Obinim says he has been directed by the Holy Spirit to send mobile money to all of his church members in Ghana in this period of coronavirus outbreak which has resulted in a lockdown across some major cities in the country

The Founder and leader of International Godsway Ministries, Bishop Obinim, says he has been directed by the Holy Spirit to send mobile money to all his church members.

According to Obinim, the Holy Spirit directed him to support members of his church in this period of lockdown and coronavirus.

Speaking at his Good Friday Easter service televised on his TV station and monitored by YEN.com.gh, Bishop Obinim urged his Ghanaians to look out for the interest of the less privileged in society throughout this period.

He added that he had already sent over 300 members and was ready to do more

“We walk by the direction of the spirit so I have decided to send mobile money [MoMo] to all my members during the lockdown. I have sent MoMo to over 300 members and I’m ready to do more because God has spoken to me. I will continue to do this,” he said.

“I have seen a lot of people donating to government and institutions but I’m focused on supporting my members who may die before the lockdown is over,” he disclosed.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that awarding winning dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy had joined US female musician Alicia Key as in most pre-ordered albums worldwide category on Apple Music.

Stonebwoy's upcoming album, titled 'Anloga Junction', had joined the likes of Alicia Keys as the most pre-ordered albums worldwide on Apple Music.

The pre-ordered albums worldwide category also has albums like 'All Rise (Delux)' and ' What Kinda Music' among others there.

This is the first time a Ghanaian's album has made it to the pre-ordered category on Apple Music with much anticipation.
