Kwadwo Asamoah to move to Fenerbache in the summer transfer window

Black Stars player, Kwadwo Asamoah is set to join Turkish side Fenerbache in the summer transfer window from Italian side Inter Milan.

The 31-year old turned down an offer from German side TSG Hoffenheim to move to Turkey where it is believed his place in the team is secured.

Asamoah began this season brightly but injuries hindered his campaign and has not featured for the Nerazurri's since October 2019 in their 2-1 win over Brescia.

The former Juventus player's injury problems forced manager Antonio Conte to sign former Manchester United wing-back Ashley Young.

Kwadwo Asamoah has made only eight Serie A appearances this season.

The left-back who can also play in midfield has spent his entire career in Italy since leaving Ghana in 2008.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that former Black Stars player Augustine Arhinful said Black Stars coach C.K. Akunnor has all it takes to succeed as the coach of the senior national team.

According to him, C.K. Akunnor has all the experience from his playing days that he can apply to be a successful Black Stars coach.

Augustine Arhinful in an interview on Joy Fm disclosed that C.K. Akunnor's name will go down in the history books if he manages to win the AFCON tournament.
