A Ghanaian company, Assuah Robotics based in Tarkoradi in the Western Region, has reportedly manufactured electronic hand sanitiser that can be mounted in offices, roadsides and other public space to help fight the novel coronavirus.
According to Emmanuel Gyau-Addo, a social media user and other multiple posts shared online, the electronic device is hands-free.
The electronic hand sanitiser is programmed in such a way that it allows the sanitiser to flow automatically into the hands of the users in an effort to stem the spread of the coronavirus via touching by multiple users.

While details of the new device are still trickling in, YEN.com.gh gathers that the novel electronic hand sanitiser has a sensor that sends a signal and substance is released on the hands of users.
This latest innovation comes amid the outbreak of the novel coronavirus and its spread across nations of the world.
Countries including Ghana have outlined guidelines to stem the spread of the dreaded disease including advocating regular handwashing with soap under running water and the use of hand sanitiser to observe personal hygiene.
When procured in large quantities, users would not have to worry about touching the device against any possible infection and spread of the COVID-19.
Assuah Robotics' new invention adds to a series of other novel innovations that have been designed following the outbreak of the coronavirus.
