- The 46-year-old Nigerian national identified as Simon Okafor Chukudi, escaped from his residence in Wa 48 hours after his status was revealed to him
- Chukudi has however been found at a hideout in Wa where he was seeking asylum with some friends

Information reaching YEN.com.gh indicates that the 46 year old Nigerian national, Simon Okafor Chukudi who disappeared after testing positive has been found.
He reportedly run into hiding upon hearing that he tested positive to COVID-19 after his status was revealed to him.
The Wa Police found Okafor after a frantic search at his hideout around Wa polytechnic inside a compound house with some friends where he was hiding.

According to the Upper West Regional Police Commander DCOP Aboagye Nyarko, he was intercepted at his hideout through an informant.
Okafor Chukudi and five of his relatives are now on mandatory quarantine at the Regional Hospital with other confirmed patients.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported a man who tested positive for COVID-19in the Upper West Region, is on the run.

The 46-year-old Nigerian national identified as Simon Okafor Chukudi, who tested positive for coronavirus on Monday escaped from his residence in Wa 48 hours after his status was revealed to him.
Chukudi happens to be one of the seven persons who tested positive for the coronavirus in the region.
