Coronavirus: Davido's fiancee Chioma Rowland tests negative

- Chioma Rowland has survived the dreaded coronavirus after testing positive a few weeks ago

- The news was shared by singer Davido, Chioma's fiance who revealed she tested negative twice for the virus

Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has cause to celebrate as his fiance and mother of his son, Chioma Rowland officially healed from the dreaded coronavirus.

This comes a few weeks after testing positive for the life-claiming virus that has taken thousands of lives across the globe. Davido took to his Twitter account to share the good news, revealing her test had come back negative, twice.

He wrote: "Glory be to God. Chioma has now tested negative twice for Covid19. Thank you all for prayers. We love you."

Recall the singer had announced that his wife-to-be, Chioma Avril Rowland, has tested positive for coronavirus. The singer noted that he and his son, Ifeanyi, tested negative.

The singer made the announcement in a series of tweets on the popular micro-blogging platform. He explained that he recently got back from the United States and his wife-to-be came back from the United Kingdom with their son, Ifeanyi.

Recall shortly after the singer shared the devastating news, a Nigerian journalist, who attended the African Magic Viewers Choice Awards, on March 14, called out the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC).

The lady identified as, Sandra Ezekwesili, said she was not tested after the award. According to her, even though she might have been exposed to a confirmed coronavirus case at the award show, she and other attendees were told to self-isolate and they were not tested.

Meanwhile, the coronavirus pandemic has caused a lot of people to stay away from their loved ones who have tested positive for the disease. This is the case so as to avoid the spread of the deadly virus which has no cure yet.

Just recently, Davido, took to his social media page to share a photo of himself carrying his son and it was obvious that he greatly misses his wife-to-be, Chioma, who was in isolation because she tested positive for coronavirus.
