5 celebrities who are not happy about the president's decision to lift the ban

President Akufo-Addo on Sunday, April 19, 2020 lifted the partial lockdown imposed in Accra and Kumasi to help fight the deadly coronavirus.

Addressing the nation in a televised broadcast, President Akufo-Addo said the decision which takes effect from Monday, April 20, follows achievements made with aggressive contact tracing and enhanced testing capacities making it possible to contain the spread.

However, several celebrities in Ghana are not happy about the president's decision.

YEN.com.gh brings you five of such celebrities and why they do not agree with the president's decision.

1. Oheneyere Gifty Anti

She said though the president had lifted the ban, Ghanaians have to to strategize and decide what to do, to stay safe and protect their families and loved ones.

"Our lives are in our own hands!!! We shall overcome! Be wise!! Stay safe!!! Stay alive and Trust in God," she stated.

2. Lydia Forson

Lydia Forson said she still does not understand why the ban has been lifted.

3. Yvonne Nelson

Yvonne Nelson who does not agree with the lifting of the ban on the partial lockdown asked God to be with all Ghanaians and protect them

Efia Odo says there is more to the ban being lifted after Ghana had confirmed over 1,000 cases.

5. Prince David Osei
