Controversial Ghanaian media personality and comedienne, Afia Schwar has criticised President Akufo-Addo for lifting the partial lockdown in Accra, Kumasi, and Kasoa.

She said she does not understand why Akufo-Addo would lift the lockdown at a time that Ghana has recorded over 1,000 coronavirus cases.

In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Afia said she wishes to join the president at his cabinet meeting to know who has been advising him to take certain decisions.

To her, the president’s decision would even turn Ghanaians against him, and that would be a plus for former president Mahama.

Miss sort of agreed with the president’s decision and gave her own reason:

misst_25: “Nana just did what is best for his hungry citizens who claim can't do anything because of lock down....he just showed he listens to the cries of his people.... and the women who were complaining men were sleeping with them too much....did y'all think the president doesn't hear?..... people still refused to stay home during the lock down yet you Ghanaians still have something to say?....let him be and pray to God to protect you instead.”

Meanwhile, Afia Schwar is not the only one who has criticised Akufo-Addo’s decision to lift the lockdown.

Gifty Anti and others have also expressed their opinions on the situation.

Afia had earlier trended in the news for claiming that Akua GMB had been cheating on her millionaire husband Dr. Kwaku Oteng.

She also claimed that Akua’s daughter is not for her husband, but rather for one man called Trig.

However, Akua has spoken wildly of her daughter issuing a warning to her intruders.
