Our Manifesto: This is what YEN.com.gh believes
A woman called on her bae in her hour of need, but the requirement was a data bundle.
Perhaps he didn't like the request, perhaps it was her tone, but he chose not to mince his words in his response.
He responded: "I don't want you to ask me for data next time. I feel disrespected. This is first time a woman ask me for data in 5 years. I'm not your schoolmate kind of boyfriend."
A screenshot of their conversation somehow found its way on social media after Wolf (@madisemadisa) shared it via Twitter on Monday.
The tweet invoked a strong response, with many criticising the man for his forthright reaction.
MaMthembu (@vuvu_matshoba) said,
"In all fairness, he could have communicated this better. It was the first time eyicela and maybe she was trying him. Mna undiphoxe oluhlobo I'm never asking you for anything ever."
Sir Linc (@Gurulinc) took exception to the man's response:
"This guy is abusive af. It's your responsibility as a man to take care of your woman. He's not one of us... I guess he didn't attend men's conference."
Tana Patsa(@Tana_Patsa) added,
"Kakhulu, he comes across as arrogant. And this lady is polite or maybe she’s too desperate to keep the relationship. I would have put him in his place hey."
In another interesting report, ice blocks have fallen as rain in some parts of the regional capital of the Ashanti Region, a situation which is popularly known as hailstones and rarely experienced.
According to a report gathered by Starrfm.com.gh, the incident happened on Monday, March 20, 2020, and was recorded by a local resident who would later report to the media house.
It is, however, indicated that several residents run into corridors with many of them taking videos whilst others picked up the particles to admire its nature.
