Boxing legend Mike Tyson has insisted he had the capacity to beat anybody during his prime in the sport.

The 53-year-old hanged his gloves in 2005, about the same time Wladimir Klitschko became unstoppable in the heavyweight division.

According to Sport Bible, the 44-year-old Ukrainian maintain an unbeaten status from October 2004 to November 2015 when he lost to Tyson Fury at the Esprit Arena, Düsseldorf, Germany.

However, Tyson, who is still the youngest boxer to make heavyweight history believes he would have beaten just anybody on water, vegetables, and vitamins.

"I'm not being offensive; I'm not being egotistical. Clean fighting, no substance, food and water - the basics and I think I could beat almost anybody.

"I think I'd put my life on it that I could," he said back in 2013 during Klitschko's spell as heavyweight king. "I would beat anybody in my prime on water, vegetables and vitamins."

When asked if he would participate in the sport in form of a reality show, he replied: "Never. I don't want to be a part of bringing somebody back to the ring. The risk is so high.

"Now we are dealing with guys that have enhancement substance. You are going to hurt these guys or they're gonna die, get brain damage or broken bones," he added.

Tyson replied a fan who asked him on social media if he thought Klitschko would have been a "formidable heavyweight champion even in the 'Golden Age? he said: "I think he would have done well in any era."

Having lost all his belts ( WBA (super), IBF and WBO titles) to Fury in 2015, Anthony Joshua compounded his woes two years later when he tried coming back at Wembley Stadium.

The Ukrainian retired before he had the chance to get into the ring with Joshua for a rematch three years ago -ending his career with 64 wins in 69 fights, 53 wins by knockout, and holds three major records of the modern heavyweight era.

The most wins in heavyweight title bouts (25), most wins in unified championship bouts (15), and most consecutive defenses of the unified title (14).
