A Nigerian man has been left heartbroken after his house went up in flames and his savings got burnt recently.

The man identified as Kelly Mark took to Facebook on Tuesday, April 21, to share his predicament.

He posted on Facebook: "Please guys this is what happened to me this afternoon, I have been saving this cash for some time now. Only to be called dat my house is on fire.

"I ran down and after putting off the fire my saving box was burnt, after opening it I found the money inside like this. Inside this Covid 19 wahala.. am confuse of what to do."

In other news, a video clip has emerged of father angrily slapping his son multiple times for woefully failing his exams despite spending $21,000 on his school fees.

In the video that has been shared on social media and rapidly making rounds, the man is seen angrily engaging his first son who sat on a couch in their living room while his father lambasted him for his poor performance in school.

According to the teenager's father, he has spent so much money on the education of his kids but has had no positive results from them to show for it.
