Heart-warming video shows moment COVID-19 was patient discharged

- An inspiring video has gone viral on social media on Thursday

- The clip shows a Covid-19 patient being discharged from St George's Hospital in Port Elizabeth

- He became the hospital's first patient to recover from the coronavirus

The coronavirus has put the world under lockdown and the fatalities have instilled fear in the hearts of many.

However, South Africans have been given hope by the recovery of a Port Elizabeth COVID-19 patient.

On Thursday, Facebook group We Are South Africans shared a video showing the moment the St George's Hospital in PE discharged its first coronavirus patient.

The clip gathered over 34 000 views in less than a day and South Africans were hopeful that it means we can beat this virus.
