Dancehall superstar Shatta Wale has surprised his father, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Capo, as he celebrated his birthday.

Shatta Wale's father turned a year older on Sunday, April 26, 2020, and the musician decided to celebrate him.

As part of his moves to celebrate Shatta Capo, Shatta Wale paid his father a surprise visit in his house.

And Shatta Wale did not go empty-handed as he presented a gold chain (a necklace made from gold) to his father as a birthday gift.

In a video sighted by, Shatta Wale could be seen putting the necklace around the neck of his father who was dressed in SM apparel.

Shatta Capo expressed his surprise at his son's gift saying it was the "biggest surprise" because it was unplanned.

He later asked for God's blessings to pour on his son for the kind gesture done him.

Shatta Wale who shared the on social media expressed his love for his father and urged him to stay strong.

"Happy birthday to my Dad the #LIONGKING#Shattacapo #Apocalypto Stay strong Love you 4 Life ❤️❤️❤️," he captioned the video.
