Kim Jong Un: Speculation rife over North Korean leader's health

- North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has vanished leading to speculation over his health

- His train has been seen at an elite resort which has fueled the rumours

- This is not the first time the leader has disappeared only resurface later

Where in the world is Kim Jong Un? That is the question everyone is asking after the leader of North Korea dropped off the radar.

Rumours have been circulating that ever since he missed the birth anniversary of his grandfather Kim Il Sung on 15 Apil.

The last time he was seen was on 11 April when he presided over a meeting. A medical team had been dispatched from China according to Reuters to offer advice on Kim.

YEN.com.gh a train used to transport the leader has been seen at a resort town in the east of the country. Leading to wild speculation as to the leader's whereabouts.

"The train's presence does not prove the whereabouts of the North Korean leader or indicate anything about his health but it does lend weight to reports that Kim is staying at an elite area on the country's eastern coast," it said.

Kim is the third member of his family to lead the country, he took power following the death of this father in 2011.

However, there is no clear successor to take over from Kim if he is unable to lead.

US President Donald Trump did not give any hint that he is concerned over the leader.

"I think the report was incorrect," Trump told reporters.

The state media has remained silent over the whereabouts of Kim. This is not the first time he has dropped off the radar. Each time he vanished, rumours were rife as to where the leader had disappeared to.

In 2014 he vanished for 6 weeks, South Korea's spy agency reported that the had a cyst removed from his ankle.
