Floyd Mayweather shuns lockdown guidelines again, trains with full headgear in Las Vegas

- Floyd Mayweather could be returning to the rings after coronavirus lockdown

- The 43-year-old was filmed in a training session with his team present

- Mayweather retired in 2017 but has hinted he could return with two opponents on the line

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather has once again shunned the lockdown guidelines by taking part in a boxing sparring session in the presence of his team.

The 43-year-old hanged his gloves in 2017 following his victory over Mixed Martial Artist star Conor McGregor.

It was also his 50th victory in his 50 professional career fights - meaning no one has been able to overcome the American in the rings.

Mayweather hinted last year he might be coming out of his retirement to battle the UFC fighter but no agreement has been reached just yet. He also mentioned a mystery plan with UFC boss Dana White late last year.

The retired boxer who was crowned Boxing Writers Association of America’s Fighter of the Decade has now been spotted wearing full protective headgear and gloves near a ring displaying the logo of Mayweather Promotions.

Although it was unclear when the clip was recorded according to Daily Star, it was recently shared on Ashley Theopane's official Twitter page.

The post has now attracted comments from fans with one writing: "So everyone’s gotta stay at home and away from non-essential work except Mayweather?”

Another added: "Guy wearing a face mask but applying Vaseline with no gloves on.”

Theopane said in response to some criticism: “His own gym. His staff. They in Las Vegas. Rules are different across the world.

People in parks over here are definitely doing more harm. No social distancing with strangers.”

Mayweather also remains the most paid boxer in history with his fight against Manny Pacquiao generating over $300 million.

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather earlier took to social media to share a stunning throwback picture of his family amid coronavirus.

The 43-year-old dressed in Air Jordan outfit struck a pose along with his wife and three children in what looks like their living room, and they all wore a simple smile for the camera.

While sharing the post, the multiple major world titles holder captioned it "My family" #TBT.
