Birthdays are special occasions in the lives of many people and those close to the celebrant often try to make the day an even more special one.

Most times, these loved ones do this by showing off the celebrant on social media as other friends and well-wishers drop goodwill messages.

Just recently, popular American rapper, Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., better known by his stage name, Snoop Dogg, took to social media via his Instagram page to share the news of his mother’s birthday.

The rapper’s mother clocked a year older on April 27, 2020, and he made sure to let the world know by sharing an adorable photo of the birthday girl.

In the photo shared, Snoop’s mother wore a blue blouse as she sported a very cute smile while posing for the camera. The rapper then accompanied the photo with a sweet caption.

Snoop thanked his mother for giving birth to him and raising him the right way.

He wrote: “Happy birthday mama thank u for having me and raising me the right way”.

Just recently, YEN.com.gh reported that American rapper, Kanye West, has been declared a billionaire by Forbes Magazine.

The disclosure was made by Forbes on Friday, April 24, which said the 42-year-old rapper is now worth $1.3 billion. YEN.com.gh gathered that Kanye's Yeezy footwear often sells for more than $200 a pair in the United States and elsewhere.

According to Forbes, the rapper had pressed the magazine to be listed as one of its billionaires but it declined for lack of proof.
