Ghanaian singer MzVee, known in private life as Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda, has denied being in an amorous relationship with fellow singer Mugeez of R2Bees fame.

Rumours went rife in the latter part of March 2020 that MzVee and Mugeez, known in real life as Rashid Mugeez, were romantically involved.

The dating rumours started after the two were spotted in cosy posturing in a new photo on social media.

As earlier reported by YEN.com.gh, MzVee was captured sitting on Mugeez while he wrapped his hands around her waist.

Later, Mugeez shared a photo of the pretty singer with an interesting caption which suggested they were now lovers.

“But I Don’t Want To Break Ur Heart n they r already breakin tins…???.. I beg break ma own b4 I go break am? make we de break de go,” he captioned the photo.

According to her, the photo she posted was a photo from the scene of a music video they were shooting together.

In an interview with MzGee on 3FM on Monday, April 27, 2020, MzVee indicated that she was about to drop a new song with Mugeez.

"...We went to shoot a video together in South Africa. I think it’s that picture I posted that made people talk. I think I went to hug him in his seat and that was it and people are saying MzVee and Mugeez. It was just an innocent picture," she said.

MzVee went ton to liken the photo and rumours to a similar situation which happened when she did her Natural Girl song with Stonebwoy sometime ago.

“There is nothing going on. He is my brother. He is a very talented brother,” she insisted.
