John Dumelo donates to all mosques at Ayawaso West for Ramadan amid COVID-19

John Dumelo has donated massively to all mosques at the Ayawaso West Consistency to help them during the Ramadan celebrations amid the COVID-19 hardships.

The popular Ghanaian icon made the information public on his personal Twitter handle in a post sighted by YEN.com.gh

According to John, the items donated comprised sugar, rice, oil, tins of milk and boxes of tea, all of which were shared across every mosque in the constituency.

Many people have been reacting to the kind gesture exhibited by John. A gentleman named Kofi loved the fact that John donated the items and testified benefiting from them.

Ofori Evans backlashed the kind donor, saying he did not need to embark on the exercise:

In reply to Ofori Evans, another gentleman named Supremo bashed him for engaging in too much criticism.

John Dumelo is a popular Ghallywood actor who has starred in hundreds of movies in Ghana, Nigeria and beyond.

Currently, he is a parliamentary candidate for the Ayawaso West Consistency where he made the donations, on the ticket of the NDC.

Meanwhile, Ghana has recorded 403 more cases of the novel coronavirus or COVID-19, sending the total number of confirmed cases to 2,074 from the previous 1,671 recorded.

According to the official website of the Ghana Health Service, the total number of recoveries, as well as deaths, have also changed to 212 and 17 respectively.

88% of all the cases reported have not had any travel history as only 12% have been traced to some evidence of travel.
