Kumawood actress Vivian Jill Lawrence has mourned the death of popular actor Bernard Nyarko who was affectionately known as 'Bishop'.

Bishop Nyarko passed away at the Greater Accra Regional (Ridge) Hospital in Accra on Saturday, May 2, 2020.

In a post sighted by YEN.com.gh, Vivian Jill Lawrence said the entire movie industry will miss the legendary actor.

The news of Bernard Nyarko's death was received with shock by many movie lovers and Ghanaians in general.

Just like the fans, acting colleagues of the deceased were also hit hard by the news of his death and have been reacting to it in similar fashion.

The latest celeb to react to the death is Kumawood star, Vivian Jill, as she took to her social media handle to share her sorrow.

"I send my condolence to the family of BISHOP BERNARD NYARKO our legendary actor. I and the entire crew and colleague actors will forever miss u. Rest well bro, we love u but God loves u the most. Good morning family," Vivian Jill posted on her Instagram page.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that a pastor by name Bishop Rabi had claimed that the late Kumawood actor Bishop Nyarko was killed by players in the movie industry.

He said whoever is behind Bishop’s death was envious of him and wanted to get rid of him just as he or she has done.

According to him, ‘juju’ was sprinkled on the ground for the actor to walk over unknowingly, leading to his untimely demise.
