COVID-19: John Cena pays surprise visit to 7-year-old boy battling with cancer

John Cena paid a surprise visit to a seven-year-old boy who is seriously ill for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The WWE superstar went to see young lad David Castle who is fighting a Wilms tumour, at his home in Tampa, Florida.

The 16-time world heavyweight champion handed over two WWE Titles, a signed t-shirt, hat, armbands, and a programme to the youngster.

According to WFLA News, Pasco County Fire Rescue service helped to put the surprise together, with the kid’s mother, Tammy Miller, saying her son had tears in his eyes when he Cena.

David was diagnosed with Wilms tumor in October 2019 and was already in stage four upon diagnosis, with it now spread to other parts of his body.

David's family have set up a GoFundMe page, aiming to raise money for David’s medical expenses.

Cena returned to the squared circle in Wrestlemania 36 with a match with Bray Wyatt which he lost in an empty arena.

The 43-year-old has become a household name in Hollywood and he is now hosting Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? on Nickelodeon.

He well-known for his charity work and has granted over 650 wishes for the Make-A-Wish Foundation despite his packed schedule.
