In an exclusive interview on Vision 1 FM in Accra, Gideon revealed that his father died right in his presence at the Ridge Hospital.
He described the moment his father’s remains was moved to the morgue as harrowing and unbearable.
“My father died right in my presence at the Ridge Hospital. It was an excruciating moment for me and unbearable, but then I had to come to terms with the fact that he’s gone and face reality as it presented itself with a big blow,''Gideon recounted.
He said the late Bishop Bernard Nyarko was a man full of motivation even at the point when he saw that all hopes was lost.
Gideon explained that his father will at the least chance advice and motivate him to be strong if things don't go as expected.
''Any time my father gets the opportunity he would advice me. He has more experience in life and so his last remarks were words of encouragement. He told me that if things don't go as expected, I should take care of things,''Gideon said.
He also said that ''I should be a man of your own.''
