Ignatius Baidoo of TV3’s Date Rush has disclosed the reason he turned down love proposal from seven ladies including Portia Freelove on the popular reality show.
According to the outspoken young man who has been attracting attention online following his appearance on the popular TV reality show, he has intense admiration for plus-size women.
Ignatius became an internet sensation after making a confident decision during the final stage of the Date Rush reality show on Sunday, May 3, 2020.
The young man rejected love from seven ladies on the popular TV programme.
His decision evoked a wave of mixed reactions from online enthusiasts, with many labelling him as disrespectful.
Ignatius recently sat with popular Ghanaian blogger Zionfelix to address issues from the programme after he turned down the women.
Contrary to what is being circulated, he said he did not turn down the women to disrespect them.
''I love and respect women. My mother is a woman,'' Ignatius said.
He noted that he found it difficult to reject the women who appeared on the show because they were all beautiful.
However, he revealed that he has unmatched admiration for plus-size women.
Ignatius confidently stated that while all the ladies who appeared on the programme were beautiful, none met his standard because he prefers thicker women with ‘flesh’.

The less than 5-minute audio over photos slides opens with Giovanni Caleb, the host of Drive Time show on 3FM, heard in conversation with Ignatius.
Comedienne Jacinta played the role of a sugar mommy.
Giovanni disclosed that a rich woman, who he identified as Eunice, was crushing on him after she saw an image of him on his status.
