Malia, Sasha Obama appear all grown in mum's Netflix series Becoming

Former President of the US Barack Obama is struggling to cope with being empty nesters but their relationship with their two daughters is still as strong as ever.
Their girls Malia and Sasha Obama were missing in action from TV as they always loved living away from flashing lights and unnecessary attention.

After years of going underground, the grown ladies appeared on their mum’s documentary on Netflix dubbed Becoming and it was a surprise welcomed by everyone.
Michelle Obama who was documenting her journey to success on the thrilling show included her sweet girls in some of the interviews and showed off how gorgeous they had become.
The last time the two had spoken publicly was more than a decade ago.
The university students were part of their mum’s journey and opened up on how they admired their matriarch for everything she had achieved.
The series walked with Michelle and her team during her book tour for bestselling memoir Becoming.

The 21-year-old and 18-year-old said their mum’s determination excited them and gave them pride in equal measure.
“I am excited for her to be proud of what she has done because I think that is the most important thing for a human to do is be proud of themselves,” Sasha said.
The documentary showed how strong the bond between Michelle and Malia was as the two related like buddies and spread love every chance they got.

Malia looked mature, grown and wise for years. She was a copy of her mum and loved every step Michelle took to achieve her goals.
In a previous interview with Oprah, the former first lady said she and Barack had a hard time adjusting to living without kids.
She also revealed her husband burst into tears when their eldest daughter transitioned from high school to university.
