Assin Central MP Kennedy Agyapong has reacted to the news of police storming Bishop Daniel Obinim's church to arrest him and his subsequent hospitalisation.

As earlier reported by YEN.com.gh police personnel stormed Obinim's church in Accra on Thursday, May 14, 2020, while he was having a counselling session.

The police is reported to have duly informed Obinim that they had a warrant to arrest him to go and answer a few questions.

Upon hearing of the arrest warrant, Obinim asked to go inside his office and he returned to inform the police that he was not well.

According to reports, Obinim nearly collapsed and had to be rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment as the police waited around.

Speaking on Boiling Point on his Oman FM on Thursday night, Ken Agyapong who has vowed to get Obinim incarcerated, suggested that Obinim had feigned sickness to avoid arrest.

According to the Assin Central MP, Obinim claimed to have had a heart attack from high blood pressure.

He indicated that he knew Obinim's whereabouts saying he was on admission at Yeboah Hospital in the East Legon area.

"Obinim has run away to Yeboah Hospital today because of the warrant to arrest him. Obinim, how long are you going to be at the hospital? I can even give the number to the room you took. You can't run so better report.

You are faking that you have a heart attack or high blood pressure but I'm monitoring you so fake your sickness till thy kingdom come," he said.

Speaking further, Ken Agyapong indicated that he was not going to forgive Obinim and will thus ensure that he goes to jail because of two people, Obinim's wife and one other lady who insulted him over the matter.

The news of the arrest warrant for Obinim comes after being under siege from the Assin Central MP who has been bent on exposing him.
