Multi-talented actress and broadcaster Nana Ama McBrown has opened up for the first about Nana Yaa Brefo resignation from the Multimedia Group.

Nana Yaa Brefo announced her resignation from the Multimedia Group in the late hours of May 16, 2020.

Nana Yaa Brefo came under serious criticisms after several people lambasted her for the kind of questions she asked Nana Ama McBrown during an interview about the demise of late Bishop Bernard Nyarko recently.

Some people started linking her resignation to that particular interview with Nana Ama McBrown.

But in a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Nana Ama McBrown said she knows nothing about Nana Yaa Brefo's resignation.

Speaking on United Showbiz, Nana Ama McBrown said Nana Yaa Brefo is her sister who she considers a mature woman.

" She didn't resign because of me. Nana Yaa is a mature woman. She is my sister, if it is true that she has resigned, I will call her," Nana Ama McBrown stated.

Nana Yaa Brefo took to her official Instagram handle to announce her resignation from the Accra-based media outfit.

She thanked the company after 10 years of working with Adom TV and Adom FM.

Nana Yaa Brefo also thanked her fans and colleagues at Multimedia.

Her statement read, "I want to say a very big THANK YOU to MultiMedia and my colleagues. Also want to my fans for the support, really appreciate also thank those who did not like me, you made me grow during my 10 years stay at Multimedia, (Adom TV ). I BOW OUT of Multimedia to follow other dreams.Thank You all for been there. Akpe."

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Ghanaian rapper Medikal has shown massive love and support to KiDi by jumping to his defense in his ongoing issue with Accra FM.

Accra FM sacked the 'Enjoyment' singer from their studios after he came to their studio 25mins late for an interview.

KiDi's lateness, according to the host Nana Romeo, was a sign of great disrespect to him, the show, and the radio station.
