RuffTown Records CEO, Ricky Nana Agyemang, popularly known as Bullet, has stated that the family relationship between Ghanaian female artiste Fantana and the dancehall king Shatta Wale was made up to hype the female singer.
According to him, it was simply a plan to give Fantana some publicity.
In an interview on Happy FM and monitored by YEN.com.gh, Bullet said Fantana and Shatta Wale are not cousins as they claimed some time ago.
“Just as showbiz has its stories, so was the Fantana - Shatta Wale relationship a showbiz one. They are not cousins in the least,” he said.
Bullet is known for using controversy to push his artistes, which makes even the current ongoing beef in his camp a little suspicious.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Bullet had broken his silence on the ongoing banter between his two artistes, Wendy Shay and Fantana.
As already known, Fantana and Wendy Shay have been involved in a banter, commonly known as 'beef', in the music circles since Saturday, May 16, 2020.
Fantana, while making a point about female artistes in Ghana, chose Efya, Becca, and Wiyaala as the most prestigious female music stars with international recognition, throwing Wendy Shay among the pack of local champions.
